Irish PartyPoker Event Grand Prize Announced

The PartyPoker 2020 Irish Poker Masters kicked off online, after the live event was canceled by the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions.

Beginning December 6, Day 1A the €1 million guaranteed Irish Poker Masters Main Event deals out the opportunity for big wins. However, Irish players will need €1,100 in their PartyPoker account for a direct buy-in. Fortunately, there are also a lot of opportunities to win a seat at the table for a much smaller amount.

The Irish Poker Masters Main Event confirmed PartyPoker’s commitment to leveling the playing field for players with both big and small bankrolls. However, that meant only one re-entry was allowed on the pair of starting flights. Furthermore, late registration was just open for nine levels. Each of those levels lasted 25-minutes and blinds begin at 500/1,000/125a with a 200,000 chip stack to start.

While €1,100 is a big buy-in for many players, there were plenty of opportunity to satellite into the €1 million guaranteed Main Event. Phase satellites started at only €0.01 and feed into the weekly Mega Satellites.

Will Kassouf outlasted 1,340 opponents to land an enormous €215K first-place prize. The famously talkative British star won his seat through a €109 satellite!

The Mega Satellites on December 6 and December 13 both have 50x €1,100 seats guaranteed. The Phases had buy-ins of €0.01, €1.10, and €11, with a final of €109 if a player didn’t phase their way in. The €109 buy-in gets a player one-million chips. If you want to learn more about similar online poker games, feel free to check out pokerlistings.com.
